The UAE has restrictions covering cannabis and certain CBD products, and cannabis is treated as a prohibited narcotic category under applicable controls. If your product falls within a specifically permitted and licensed UAE framework, the exact classification should be confirmed with the relevant authority before design begins. For legal international markets, we can develop the packaging design around the applicable requirements.
What about UAE industrial hemp?
The UAE introduced a federal framework in 2025 covering specified industrial and medical uses of industrial hemp. The framework includes permitted applications such as textiles, construction and paper and packaging, while restricting recreational use and several consumer product applications. It also establishes licensing requirements and a THC threshold of 0.3 percent for permitted industrial hemp products. Cannabis products for recreational use and licensed industrial hemp applications should not be treated as the same category. Product classification, license, permitted activity and applicable technical requirements should be confirmed before packaging development.
Do you provide regulatory approval?
No. We are a design and production artwork studio. We can organize and place required information based on the requirements supplied for the target market. Final regulatory approval should come from the appropriate authority, compliance specialist or legal advisor.
Do you provide child resistant certification?
No. Child resistant performance belongs to the physical packaging format and must be tested and certified by the appropriate supplier or laboratory. We design the artwork to fit the selected certified packaging.
Can you design packaging for multiple countries?
