Production-ready merch files are artwork files prepared specifically for printing, embroidery or another physical decoration process. The goal is to remove guesswork from production. Depending on the project, preparation can include vector artwork and cleanup, font outlining, color separations, screen-print separations, halftones, embroidery digitizing, Pantone and CMYK color setup, print placement and size specifications, garment or product mockups and printer specification sheets — prepared according to what your decorator actually needs.
Your merch design may look perfect on screen and still get rejected by the printer — wrong color mode, raster logo, missing separations, unoutlined fonts, incorrect dimensions or undigitized embroidery artwork. These small file problems create delays, reprints and unnecessary back-and-forth. This service is the execution and handoff layer, not creative concept development. You bring the design.
